Now that's what I call a set list.;)

Is that setlist true or are you pulling our trembling legs Sebastian? I mean, wow, it is the perfect setlist. If Barney himself had appeared in mortal flesh before me and had asked me to dream up a setlist I couldn't have done better. I hope they are keeping it for Brixton.

On second thoughts can I have "Rock the shack" out and "Your silent face" in, please Barney!

No, unfortunately it's The Cure doing a whole set of Order cover versions on their last North American tour...and they played for 4 hrs! :D

hahahaha

yeah, sorry, that one came out of my wildest dreams (and then again, my wildest dreams would feature 6 more songs).

And you are right, I DID forget Your Silent Face.

I would also have added:

  • Ruined in a Day from Republic;
  • Guilty Partner from Technique;
  • Paradise or As It Is When It Was from Brotherhood;
  • This Time of Night and Love Vigilantes from Low Life
  • Truth from Movement
  • Any song between New Dawn Fades and Decades from Joy Division

Seb.

You would have gotten away with it too, if it hadn't been for those darn kids and their dog!

I always thought the perfect set list had already been played, choose one of Oxford Apollo 27/3/86 or Birmingham Tower Ballroom 2/10/86.

Am I alone in not really wanting to hear several JD songs in the set every gig ? A few years ago it was a real treat, like Decades at the Festival Hall or She's Lost Control at Slough, Atmosphere at Central London Poly. Nowadays there's several. I know times change, but still....

You forgot Ceremony Seb!! Jarvo and his pals travelled to and all over North America just to bug them to play it!

Trust me, until you've seen it played live you have no idea how powerful it is. It's what I remember the most from Manchester dec 98, the crowd just went ape-shit when Ceremony came on, and the power of that song live was just incredible!!!

Yeah Robbie (hmmm, not sure I should call you that!) -- you're right -- the reason I ignored it is that it has been played SO MANY TIMES! But there has to be a reason for that.

But if they play 17 songs and it's consider to be a long set, I highly doubt they will play 30 !
