Okay. Somebody please be a sweetie and confirm the following:

  1. Gillian and Steve are married.

  2. Barney and Hooky didn't attend.

If #2 is yes, were they not invited? Or did they blow it off? Or did they just have other commitments?

It's the end of a gray workday so humor me please. Thanks.

1: they're indeed married 2: The other "other two" weren't invited: the blissfull occasion happened during their "break", ie when they weren't speaking to each other!

Sad... it's amazing how great friends can get so much of each other that they don't get invited to the other's wedding. It's odd, to say the least. I would be interested to find out for sure if they weren't invited, or they decided not to come.

That's sad. I mean, even if my best friend and I were fighting, I'd still want to go to her wedding and I'd want her to be at mine. Otherwise, when the fight blows over later you feel like an ass. "Uh, sorry I missed your big day..."

Yeah, apparently the wedding happened during that break as mentioned before....

I read somewhere that Barney was a bit pissed off....apparently he learned of it only after bumping onto the new couple at the local newsagent or something...

well, well....those times are behind all of us now ( hopefully..)

It is a bit odd they would get married and not tell Barney and Hooky beforehand...Stephen and Gillian had been going out since, what, the late 70s for crying out loud! Maybe the "break" was the time they needed to settle down and start a family.

Even if Gillian is retired from touring, at least Steve is still goin strong :drummer:

If they didn't invite Barney and Hooky, then S&G just lost a few Housey points. :(

Gillian wouldn´t admit steve to invite Barney just after watching "sunrise in PFD" and "in a lonely place at bbc radio session 1984".Barney almost killed him.

i can understand this a little bit i have been best freinds with people then played in a band with them and really hated them and never considered them as good a freind as they once were, and thease were bands that were around for 3 years i cant imagine playing in a band for 20+ years it is definatly a strain on relationships no matter how much you know the other people
