No it's not. It's offensive.
So is 'FUN' actually written in Japanese or in English? If its in Japanese then how do you know you are accurate? Perhaps you can speak Japanese as you live there or perhaps you are Japanese in which case you are entitled to call yourself a goofy bastard.

I'll call any little POS with a stoopid fragile sensibility a goofy bastard as I see fit...I would expect the same. And I have lived here for ever it seems (7 years) and have a good grasp on the language.
Like 99.9% of all Japanese CD's and DVD's...they are in fact written in English, with Japanese booklets inserted on the inside. So it is "FUN" I beleive this due to the fact the to the Japanese "FAN" has an entirely different meaning...and doesn't have the dual use as in the english language. Those GOOFY BASTARDS!!!!!!

Oh yeah...like this: "THOSE sooper goofy bastards!" (?)
How was that?
Three questions.
- What is the Japanese meaning of FAN?
- What is a POS?
- Does rascist squared = unapologetic rascist?

If you want to experience racism go to Australia, even the hippies are racist!
With careless generalisation like this, does that make you a STOOOPID GUNG-HO BASTARD?
Political Correctness gone mad. "Bastard" surely isn't an offensive word any more? And as for "goofy"...
I personally think the term was meant affectionately...
People must be really bored nowadays, in order to keep such a goofy discussion (oops!!) going on...
Perhaps a little war would keep all of us entertained...

I agree, let's close this.
the title said it all.. "Silly Japanese".
