Well it took a while to get to this point...

Would have never known about New Order if it wasn't for an old college friend named Kevin who walked across the hall and said to me "ever hear New Order"? Now hardly a day goes by without listening to them. And that was back in 1983.

Also must thank Nic and Seb for their dedication and the hard work they have done here for our collective enjoyment

A great number of people to say thanks to for the tapes, laughs, knowledge, entertainment that they have provided...Shug, Greene, Huntsman (those great alternative n.o. titles) The Major, Jeff, Benny, Mick, too name a few.

And can't forget Ian, Gillian, Barney, Hooky and Steve for making it all possible

Oh well, short and sweet

Jim

Good job Jim, it's always nice to hear from you, a longtime fan who has seen a lot in the way of "alternative" music in those 20 years (and the days when the only place one would ever hear a NO song would be the local college station; prior to TPK anyway).

Pity again about the Raiders (well, for you, J. Rice, T.Brown, etc. , not for Al Davis  ) ;keep up the good work over there in the Empire State. :)

Just over 2 years for a thousand posts isn't that bad. I'll be lucky if I do a thousand in that time. Congrats.

Let's see, if I'm at about 300 and I've been a member since Sept., then you'll be seeing my Substance about...18 months?! A little long, so I'll be looking Behind Closed Doors some more ;)
