Run Wild, it's shite, simple as that! :smoking:

You skip Primitive notion?

I've listened to Shite Jam about 3 times in all. Also skip Crystal occasionaly (only coz I've listened to it so much), #8, and #10

Well, I always skip Slow Death, and when I think, okay I'll also skip Vicious Streak, the tendency is to go straight from # 3 to #7.

Vicious Streaky Bacon gets me 'a skippin only because I want to savour it for a darkened night. Primitive Notion makes me crank the stereogram up and exceed the speed limit (yes, even faster than 60MPH).

I'm afraid to say that Rattle the Snakes gets the flick-past as does that appauling one that goes on about liking things just as they are.

Of course, Smuffler is very much in error with his lack of appreciation for the albums crowning glory Running Wilderbeasts.

While we're at it, sometimes I skip Turn My Feet simply because I don't want to over-egg the pudding.

I think I agree with the Patty man. When push comes to shove I do tend to flick around like a mad teacher struggling to rid his fingertips of an unwanted set of bogies. P man, Slow Death, that's the ticket. What a howler that one is. See, I can't even rember the name of it?!!! - they really should have called it 'Slow Death'... instead of its real title.................................

'Death Camp'

It's real title, Huntsy, is Blackberry Jelly, I think. I always pause before Turn My Back, so as to properly savor it.

Slow Death is shite. I wish I'd never heard it.

Slow Jam is great! Just listen to these lyrics:

The afternoon was very clearThe sun was beating down on meI got thirsty for a beerThat I had to go to seaThe sea was very roughIt made me feel sickBut I like that kind of stuffIt beats arithmetic

hehehe He has a sense of humour, Bernard

Stopped listening to it altogether as I was skipping 2,6,7,10 then realised its not actually that good an album although I really like Behind Closed Doors.

The audience reaction to the GR stuff at the Apollo on friday was not exactly ecstatic and they knew it.

What ?!?!?!?! Well, I guess it's better when you have different opinions.

Personnally, I listen to GR over and over again... If I had to skip songs ? Probably Slow Jam & Someone Like You.

Depends on my mood...

But when I skip something, it's usually Crystal and Run Wild...

Sometimes I start directly at Vicious Streak because Crystal-60mah-TurnMyWay is almost the exact clocking of my ride to work.

Ooooohhh! You miserable buggers. You should all be forced to have the album on vinyl just so you can't skip tracks. Yeah, there's a couple of dumb 'uns on their, but its all loveable - even "RTS" which is too silly to get upset about (and for the first 10 seconds its a dead ringer for an "Unknown Pleasures" outtake...)

And anyone who skips the sublime "Vicious Streak" HAS NO SOUL....

They're fat, they're round, they're probably not playing in your town. Love 'em for it.

Yeah, the new stuff is a flop live, but when was it ever any different? And when they next tour in 2007 you'll all be shouting for "Slow Jam". Or something.

The extended intro to "Crystal" is a bit superfluous - please, NO don't need screaming divas on backing vocals, that's SO passé. ( As it happens, has anyone else noticed the horrible resemblence of this intro to some Pink Floyd track from aeons ago??? Yuck!)Bits of other songs are a bit on the cakky side: the chorus to "Rock The Shack" (the rest of the song's pretty stormin' tho') when Bobby G comes in....ROCK THE SHAG more like!! Why does everyone hate "Slow Jam" so much? I think it's OK ! (good intro that one if anything) The intro to "Primitive Notion" is SO Joy Division it hurts. "Run Wild" - too mellow, too middle aged, too flabby; Therefore the worst offender has to be "Someone Like You" - sounds like a Republic outtake: bland and uninteresting, and a waste of space. Why the fuck couldn't they have put the Chemicals collaboration on there instead?M.

I got severely told off by Liv for saying something a lot less strong than you have about Run Wild! Since then I have learnt to appreciate the song although I still do not like the lyrics.

Sorry about that......what I meant to say was "ROTTEN SHAG!!! ROTTEN SHAG!! ROTTEN SHAG!! ROTTEN.....SHA-A-A-AG!!!" Hope that's cleared things up.

I don't skip any! At first, some took time to grow on me, but now I like 'em all! Ten tasty treats, all great New Oder tracks, all unique in their own way. Actually, 11 tasty treats, I have the Japanese version with Behind Close Doors, nice bonus track.

It's been in the car CD player constantly, and I never find myself hitting the skip button.

Primitive Notion is the best song on the album.

The songs I skip are Crystal (because I always hear it on the radio), vicious streak, slow jam and run wild.

Anyone messes with me, and they get full teacher treatment!

As for you Muffster...the lyrics are cool, i particularly like the second verse, "You're the kinda person I always wanted to be with, Oh you're really cool, and you always say the right things to me, Now I'll tell ya something, my heart beats for you deep inside, You'll never be a burden, and my love for you will never die.."

Fantastic, I love that song, however, two of my best mates hate it... i need to convince them of its beauty....

Liv

P.S. If i bloke ever implied to me that i was more precious than anything on earth, that even if Jesus wanted me, he wouldnt let go of me, i'd fucking wet my pants.....
