On a scale of 1-10 what do you think the chances are of NO playing Glasto this year?

Good to see the Glastonbury Festival has finally been given the go ahead. What are chances of them playing this year. Whether you have insider knowledge & have the goss or you have a hunch, it will be interesting to find out.

Its a 6 for me. Depends on how well the LP's going and if they fancy trying some of the new tracks live. And how long they can hold Hooky down for!

Methink there's not a single chance. But Hooky might well play the bass for another band.

More likely than not.

I gave it a 5...

Well...I think this one has a slightly better chance of happening than the order playing Lollipoploser...but I still wouldn't be all that confident...

I'll go with a big fat 3!!!!

do the band's management have some association with Vince Power?

would this make Reading etc. more likely than Glasto?

Good point. It'll be one or the other this year, I'm pretty certain of that. My money (and hopes) would be on Reading rather than hippyville.

Me too - could pop over from Euroland for a daytripper...

any rumblings about a possible outing tied in with the Saville retrospective?

Benny - the Roskilde 84 tape is a revelation... perhaps not the intended effect, but the version of Sunrise is quite something... can't get it out of my head! Much appreciated.

Well if they do go to Reading it will be 5 years since the last Reading (98), which was 5 years since 93'. 5 yearly cylces then!?!?

Good thing with Reading is, you can pay to go just for the one day so you can miss shite like Puddle of Mudd and Nicklebak on the "Rock" day.

If they do play Reading though, lets just hope they get to headline this time instead of playing second fiddle to the likes of Garbage, or heaven forbid Linkin Park.

I can't believe it'll be five years this year since the last Reading outing... that's nuts!

There's no chance of them playing Glastonbury, cos they are playing the carling weekenders in Leeds and Reading.

Heard yesterday that Leeds might not go ahead due to the planks that trashed the place last year. I usually go to Reading anyway, but its still a shame when a small minority do more than shout just "bollox" at a festival!

Hope ur right Major!
