TARAS SHEVCHENKO

I love threads like this, good info and good opinion. I played Taras recently for the first time since God knows when. It was the first NO video I bought all those years ago I still find their on-stage uncertainty and lack of confidence endearing.

Favorite bit on Taras? At the end of "Temptation" when they all fuck off the stage leaving Gillian's synth to finish the job.

A few observations now :

1.Is Barney's guitar in Ceremony in T S the same he plays the same song at Finsbury 2002 ? 2.I observed at the beggining of Dreams never end that the camera man thought Barney would sang the song.He gave Barney a close :D. 3.The microphone shock was amazing

Barney was very pissed/joking that night. As far as I remember he was playing a Gibson SG Standard, not a 1959 Les Paul !! He played several songs with the SG, not just Ceremony. He would have changed guitar after EGG, the preceding song in the set, which is probably why he decided to comment on it.
