Hey ya'll, Good to be here. I was wondering... Anyone know the meaning behind "Touched by the hand of God." I'm confused by the 'I've never seen you in a sexual way before' line. That's kinda different to say the least. Any news for me??

Well it wasn't a working title, but that is what Barney jokingly called it at Nagoya in early 87. He compounded the comment at the end of the song by saying, again jokingly, "the girl who gave me the wank played keyboards on that song"

Difficult to say, but Barney was in a real funny hilarious mood that night - possibly even moreso than the legendary Cologne 2001 show. More banter in that one show than in many entire years put together ! Apparently this was a small scale show, and someone at the gig was holding their wedding reception there - cue Barney for some ribald comments. Great set as well, it's just a pity that the recording quality isn't better, as this could have gone down as a "must-have" bootleg.

Well, that is no surprise.. after all, in the video Bernard points to Gillian when singing "I've never looked at you in a sexual way in my life before" 
But I have to ask.. which part of the lyrics makes you think about masturbation?
I read them, I just don't see it... it's about being dumped by a girl, or maybe a guy (that "sexual way" line is confusing)...

and footie is the sport most participated in by the youth of the United States as well...and has been for quite some time now...but for some reason, once the kids get to the high school level (age 12 or 13)...they've had their fill of it...maybe it's because they all go for American Football...baseball...and basketball, where they see all these millions of dollars being thrown around...pity they haven't seen how much some real footballers make!!!

Nicos...you are correct...they would have to move to Europe to get the big bucks...but that might be a good thing...
I've always told everyone that I know that I would move to London tomorrow if I had the opportunity...and if I was a footballer, I'd go wherever the money was...it isn't like Europe is such a bad place...especially if I could get a gig in the English Premier League...heck, I'd even be willing to play for Manchester United...or Leeds...or Birmmingham...maybe even the Gooners!!!
