Monaco and Electronic?

I hear that these were side projects by NO members Barney and Hook (seperately ) I think.

Are any of their albums any good? Which band is better and who is in which?

Electronic was founded by Bernard Sumner and Johnny Marr. Monaco was started by Peter Hook and David Potts.

Never heard much of Monaco, but I do like it. Electronic's first LP is the best of all of them. :nod: Get that one.

I think Monaco's Music For Pleasure album is fantastic : very eclectic mix of songs, something for everyone :)

well, I would say forget about Monaco and buy the third Electronic album, Twisted Tenderness. that´s where they found THEIR sound. excellent album. blew my mind!

Not a general consensus here, but they are ALL good.. all Electronic albums, and all Monaco albums.

Altough the 1990's eponymous "Electronic" and "Music For Pleasure" are probably the best out there.

There is also Revenge and The Other Two.

All growers actually, it was a quick fix while waiting for Republic or Get Ready...
