It was a tough call between HATYM and NO Story, but I went with the Story (be nice to see if they add any extra features, like a few more videos or live performances)

Actually what would be nice would be if they combined HATYM with the JD Substance video that was released briefly then taken off the market (and has thus made its way to bootlegs on eBay and the like) That would be sweet......

Well I've only seen the version of NO Story on our telly which was two episodes, about 45 minutes combined, with only the World video, what about a double DVD full version with extra bits and some live stuff and all the videos at one place, that would eliminate the need for the release of Substance and Best Of, I might be a bit off here, I don't know how much material a DVD can take ?

I have HATYM on VHS, and believe me, it ain't worth the bother. The quality is just utterly dreadful, and a DVD wouldn't improve much, unless the TV appearances were added, as well as the official vids and anything else that may be lurking in the vaults (very little, I would suspect).

My vote goes to PFOD and Academy on one DVD.

too right. HATYM is pretty over-rated IMO. i've only watched it once since buying it about 10yrs ago.

They could give us our money's worth by combining all the Joy Division in one package and combining all the NewOrder into its own package but that won't happen.

How about ALL of them on Region 1 DVD, because I've regrettably never seen one. First I'd wanna see the long version of N0 story.

You should get an all-region dvd player instead of waiting for a region 1 issue.

And a VCR that's PAL and not NTSC. But saving money is not my strong suit

NOstory please.

The format lends itself perfectly to DVD - branching off to see full vids if you wanna or just staying with the narrative etc

Loved Rob's contribution: "Nah, too pissed." RIP fella
