Problem is.. loss of quality.
All the videos that are online here (except those on Substance 1989 and the Best of from Japan I have or NewOrderStory) were transfers from a PAL tape Dennis Remmer sent me, which was converted by Colin Law (the owner of the old Ceremony web site).. and the quality is lost in the process.
I'd be VERY happy to get my hands on a full MPEG transfer of those videos, or being able to put them to MPEG easily for putting them on VCD, this way it can be seen on the DVD player or something like that.
But still, it's a good deal, because I'll never see those TOTP videos otherwise.. I already have many things from Shug, many things I already had and some serious good stuff, but it got very loussy in the conversion, so it's not really enjoyable.

But that's a great idea though, it would be a very nice idea if Shug knew someone with a video capture card to put those on normal CD-Roms, it would cost less and would be timeless

That's probably the best option... Shug should send you his original one day like he did to me, cost a lot to ship back, but it has done the job :D
Unfortunatly, a french friend of mine did a transfer from his PAL VCR to a NTSC VCR, and the result is questionnable.. I've never seen the original, so I weren't able to compare..
Well, at least we'll see them..
Remember that I'd very like to have those video so I can convert them and put them online here (in a streaming format, not a full 10 MB/min MPEG, this would be too big)
how much it would cost sending a blank video to UK from Argentina and back? don´t have a clue...

Sorry Nic, Brit humour. The thing that always strikes me when watching TV in The States is how blurred and washed out the picture is compared to PAL.

NTSC is an acronym for National Television System Committee.
PAL is an acronym for Phase Alternating Line.
SECAM is an acronym for Sequential Couleur Avec Memoire (Sequential Color with Memory).
