How did you find out about NewOrderOnline?

I typed "New Order" into Google, because I recently re-discovered all my old New Order stuff, and hadn't played any of it (aside from "Get Ready") for a good while.
I'm really glad I found you guys, tho' :) It's great being able to reminisce and give opinions on stuff.

I had many moons ago discovered the Ceremony site and hence stuff like TGWADP & Waterrat. For a while Music4Pleasure was a top site & from there I found WorldinMotion & also a previous incarnation of NOOL.
NOOL is by far the most comprehensive and well constructed of the NO sites I've visited & has a great cast of forumistas.
Hope v3.0 is everything you want it to be.

Looking for some information about New Order's hypothetic 2003 tour (a rumour I heard in a local radio). It's easy to find NOOL (Google, etc.)
I can't fooking remember. I've always been searching for JD/NO stuff in the Internet, maybe I just saw a link to "Temptation" in N21's website.

I too was using these sites then i had started using this site for information only!But i browsed upon the forum and thought i would cause chaos.As you know...i did!
The mainsite was a tremendous source of NEW information and that i got hooked on posting!Bet you wish i hadn't?
I found it when I put in "New Order" into Google. I think it was the first site that came up.
It was a few months after that that I joined.
Another google-er here as well, I looked at most of the results, and liked this one the best, and I didn't even check to see if there were forums, I enjoyed the rest of the site for quite awhile before I found myself over here. Very nicely done, Nic and Seb. 
typed 'new order' in a web search and, voila! was very impressed. i lurked around the site, checking it out, for about a year before actually getting off my arse and joining.

Actually the second one was NewOrderWeb.com, but since it's dead, NOOL's been promoted to #2.
#1 is the hacker site "New Order".. can't do much about it!
I found out in the Ceremony mailing list back on 97/98. by the way, what happened to the old crew? Warren Lapham, Colin Law, Fernando... anyone knows?

Warren still administers the Ceremony email service.
Probably started with Neworderweb.com and newordergetready.com, and wanted to learn more. So one day by chance I found the video archieves here, and did solely that for a long time. After awhile, I discovered the forums, learned that there are people on this planet who love the Order as much as I do 
, and at the end of summer, registered an account, picked a nickname, and the rest is history. :D
I just typed "New Order" into a search engine round about the time of the Oct 2001 dates, because I had decided to try and get a ticket for a Brixton gig after many years in the wilderness. I've never looked back since, as this site has everything the New Order fan could possibly want, and I'm very grateful to both you Nic and Seb, and to the thousands of fellow travellers that have enriched my life these past 18 months
I found NOO through a link at www.UBL.com (Ultimate Band List) where it is mentioned at the top of the links list as 'Official New Order Site'. 
Typed 'New Order' into Google on my WAP phone. Info was very limited. In other words, NewOrderOnline is the reason I finally bought a PC. Honest!
And if I may say, a TOP site. Everything anyone would wish to know.

Can't remember. Was when I first started looking for bootlegs though, so probably had something to do with that.
I had to wait untill 2001 to get internet at work. I'd actually found Worldinmotion.net first, I think it was credited on a general music site. I actually think I've found this site on a links page somewhere when I was doing further research, but I can't remember where. The computer at work is crap, I was actually put off visiting this site too often at first because it took a lot of time for the intro to load. As I've never used the internet before, and therefore I've never visited forums before, it took me quite a lot of time to register and start posting. I wasn't helped by the fact that I was banned from using the laboratory's internet by my evil boss (fortunately she got relieved of her bossing duties since) because I was waiting for the Uncut article to open for several hours. But I hope now I've found my place under the sun.
NewOrderOnline is carved into a mahogany plaque that was given to me shortly after birth by a man with a plectrum in his teeth...
Found out about it when it was Temptation after putting New Order into the search and haven't been so pleased to find out so much info about the band.

A little midget with a high pitched feminine voice came to me in a dream and said somthing backwards that translated as "Go to Neworderonline, they have a great need for a horse's ass" 
I awoke from the dream, stubbed my toe, and hit my head on the coffee table bending over to check my toe. When I came to, I was in front of the computer, looking at Olsen Twins nude pics. Horrified 
, i typed in the first thing I could think of to take me away from that terrible sight. it happened to be New Order Online. Unfortuantely this was the ocassion of Shug posting pics of himself barfing :\puke: on the main page, but I stayed with it. never had I seen a sight as terrible as the one previously.......
how'd they manage..? I mean, is it natural to have multiple.....? What sort of God would allow that? (still talking about the Olson twins)

it's been so long, I can't remember. I believe it was through a link from another NO site at the time when the URL was spotnick.com/Temptation.
I found this site through a search engine, sometime last year although it's taken me this long to start posting anything.
I stumbled across this site late last year after I'd heard that there was a box set coming out and I wanted to know when and what was on it. I must have hit this place from a google search. I stayed clear of the forum for some time knowing how highly addictive they can be but have finally succumbed out of curiosity. I was pretty much obsessed with New Order in my teens from about 1985-1990 and because of the unimagined Get Ready comeback, the film, the boxed set and now this web site I'm getting slowly obsessed all over again!
