Hey everyone, my names Frank this is my first message on here!

I made a New Order compilation CD comprising my fave album/rare tracks,

1 DREAMS NEVER END (peel) 2 TURN THE HEATER ON (peel) 3 AGE OF CONSENT
4 568
5 YOUR SILENT FACE
6 THIS TIME OF NIGHT
7 SOONER THAN YOU THINK
8 PARADISE
9 AS IT IS WHEN IT WAS
10 GUILTY PARTNER
11 DREAM ATTACK
12 EVERYONE EVERYWHERE
13 SPECIAL
14 VICIOUS STREAK
15 SOMEONE LIKE YOU
16 TEMPTATION '98

What do people think of the tracklisting? Thought i'd miss the more obvious tracks and go for the many hidden gems. I'd love to see a compilation of this style released, would make a nice change from a standard "best of".

Throw in Doubts Even Here and Vicious Circle and you've got a winner. :)

Welcome Frank. That sounds not too bad, but everybody will have made his own compilation with slightly differences than your

Where is Love Vigilantes ? as a hidden track ?

This was Craig's tribute to Frank Zappa, so I entitled it "I'm Frank".....

Lot's of 'lighters in the air' numbers and not too many big chooons!

Still, each to their own.

Oof, now we're talking. I suppose it would have to be the next(?) rendition of Age of Consent?!

Barring that we've got Ceremony, Sunrise, Temptation, Procession, EGG, 586, Subculture, Face Up, Dreams Never End . .. list is endless (well, not endless, obviously, but bloody long!).

spot on! AOC sure oozes that rawness which NewOrder can deliver so effortlessly.

More recently i think Crystal deserves a mention, one of their most powerful "grip you by the throat" type tunes in a long while!

Yeah, Crystal and Regret from the recent-ish era both deserve a mention. Not much else though. The band themselves seem to think Close Range is a bit of a goer, though not sure I'm convinced. Give it time.. .

SOTN was 'gritty' live. Added edge as it sounded nothing like NO (obviously it does now). The 7" cut is especially 'raw'.

Close Range is a mid-tempo number, I'm surprised they think it has big power to turn heads, although live it is one of the better songs.

Sunrise, SOTN, the original TBTHOG, Ceremony, This Time of Night, Way of Life, Temptation, AOC ...

... are tickets available?

:hat:

1-Dreams never end 2-Your Silent Face 3-Ultraviolence 4-Procession 5-Age of consent 6-Weirdo 7-1963 8-As it is when it was 9-Love vigilantes 10-Sunrise 11-Vanishing Point 12-All the way 13-Dream Attack 14-Everyone Everywhere 15-Let's Go 16-Player in the league 17-Primitive notion

These are my album/b-sides faves...but, as all you konw, these kind of lists change every week.
