Hello, all. I'm a newbie to computers, but a long standing new order / joy division fan. there was a lot of talk about so called "secret" tracks, video's etc. on retro discs, but most seemed to be jokes aimed at confusing people who were not "hip" enough to know better. Well I've had my copy of retro ( u.k. with bonus disk) since christmas, and I can't find anything. So can anyone tell me if there really is anything, and if so, how to access it? Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks!
retro "hidden tracks", for real.

Brits.. you know them :D
It's been a while since a running gag was on with Love Vigilantes not being on Retro (because one person, who incidently never posted again, posted it in 3 or 4 threads) then it became a running gag, ended up being a "hidden" track on Retro.
The only "hidden" feature on any New Order material is Stephen Morris' face behing the 511 cover!

Thanks a lot Hibster
...but disc#3 is not the remix one ? ![]()
Yeah, it's the Transmission remix of Love Vigilantes. It's at the end of Disc 3. Listen to the silence.....
Only a joke, for the moment...there are strange noises in my cd player when I put the disc 3. Maybe it's not a hidden track, there are two tracks in one.

I get strange noises on that disc too. There I was expecting to hear NO, and instead there's a crap remix!!! Does anybody else have this problem?
Well, if you play Temptation backwards, you can hear Barney eating a sandwich rather loudly :D

Yeah, shift the balance left, then right.. 2 different songs ![]()
The hidden tracks are hidden on a hidden cd that can be found hidden in the place where the booklet is hiding.

ABSOLUTELY PRICELESS (just like the hidden track
!)
Hidden tracks are like lost car keys. If you don't look for them you will invariably find them.

What ? You'll have a silver disc on top of your DVD player ? Didn't surprise me very much... ![]()

is this really its own track?

Very well, you caught it. How does it feel? I prefer that sensation more than some remixes on the third cd.
The worst in my opinion is Lee Combs's Crystal..
There is a special extra limited edition 6 disc Retro.
I costs a few quid more and comes in two boxes. The second has a picture of Steve on the front and the cryptic message "Low-Life" on the spine.
See if you can spot it next time you're browsing... ;)
HA HA!!! well, thanks to those who offered help in earnest, to those who simply must have a joke, I admire your tenacity! luckily enough for me, I get plenty of amusement from retro hidden tracks or no. just thought I'd check with those more " in the know" than me in case of any lurking hidden gems I may have missed. Thanks, all!
