Today at my humble job (sitting at a cheap desk making sure no one steals items from our campus bookstore), I raised my head from a magazine to see a fella leaving. I couldn't quite get a good look, but it sure as shite looked like he was wearing a green t-shirt w/ gold lettering; the text looked to say "New Order/Ceremony/ In A Lonely Place/ Fac. 33" :jawdrop: I was wowed, and was unable to call the person back to confirm it. People at my school not only know who New Order are, but also have t-shirts and such (more than I have as far as merchandise goes). There's also a fair share of people who use an on-campus ultra high speed P2P file sharing program who have some NO MP3s (unfortunately too many "Confusion"s and "Blue Monday"s). It's still really cool though, and with me sharing 1.87 of their music alone, I hope to enlighten some people here. :)

Any of you have (shell)shocking moments of recognition of anything to do w/ our fave. Manchester quartet?

Other than going to see a concert and spotting a few people with NO shirt, I probably ran into about 3 people with NO shirts in my lifetime. It's kind of an odd feeling when you run into these people, it's like you found your long lost bother or something.

I was wearing that very shirt just last night. It's great because you either get people who say something like 'great shirt man' or whatever, or you get the people who say 'what the hell is a new order ceremony in a lonely place?'

The SO and I recently ordered UP shirts and they have a tiny "copyright (symbol) 2002" on the back. mmph.

I had a conversation with someone because he noticed my True Faith shirt... turns out he was at the concert that was recorded on the BBC 1987 Live CD.

I'm wearing my unknown pleasures shirt right now, in fact!!!
