Name the song with your favourite opening NewOrder opening bars.

Often this has more impact when hearing the song live. For example who remembers the harmonica sounding off LV at MOVE for example? magic :)

But without a doubt the opening bars to Regret win hands down for me over any other NewOrder song!!!

yup ceremony is a goodun, as is aoc, im really talking about the first couple of seconds of a track, the quicker the goosebumps appear the more powerful the intro

This Time of Night, because you can strain to hear that sample of "I've always lived what has been called a low life" if you turn it up real loud, then the DMX machine kicks in. Brilliant way to start a brilliant track.

Ceremony definately, it reminds me of being a lad and going out on my bike with my Substance in my walkman and about halfway down my road (after the blank bit at the start) Ceremony would start and it sounded fucking fantastic everytime

Good thread - there are so many great intros but I've always loved the way Dreams Never End builds up.
