NME today - reporting a free 2 dayer in Heaton Park...

STEREOPHONICS, BADLY DRAWN BOY , FEEDER and THE CORAL are amongst those playing a massive free concert in MANCHESTER (May 4).

On May 3, the line-up includes Judge Jules and Fergie, Eddie Halliwell and Good Greef DJs Rob Tissera, Shan, Alex Kidd and Adam Sheridan.

However, the following day will feature a "final massive act", alongside current headliners Stereophonics.

Nice one. I'll wade through the spam and find it over the weekend!

BA have actually cancelled my flight back from Boston and moved us onto a later flight, but I've not confirmed I'm taking it so could still get me money back if New Order announce something (which they won't but I can live in hope for 10mins on a Friday afternoon!)..

It was matey! and i was sooooooooo relieved when u said that FEB was the best song of their set as i had spent the last 10 odd years pissed off i never made it to that gig!!

Still wish i had gone of course ;) but happier in the knowledge the best song of the night is preserved on video forever :D

And yep the Mondays closing the video is fantastic and at the height of their powers, that set looks fookin mental! did you get to take a swipe at that huge beach ball that was floating about the crowd?

I guess it always helps when it gets dark at a gig, if i remember FEB was performed very much as it was getting dusk/dark as was the end of the fINsburt gig
