Im really into this song at the moment, listened to it some more since its relevance to recent events as described in other threads but even so its a great tune and i've changed my signature as testament to that fact :thumb:

Its one of those songs I cant seem to stop humming to myself at the moment :D

i can't count the amount of times i've put the cd on just to play that tune on those afternoons when you wanna play your favorite setlist of no/elec songs. its also a good tune to round off TT. so i agree don, its makes the hairs on my neck stand up;)

Yep, even if the footie line's a bit naff it's a top tune. "This world's out of reach but I don't want it/The people are creeps that live here on it" - I know exactly what Barney means.

it´s remarkable how the lyrics makes even more sense 4 years later of being written. you read them and just have to admit all barney´s saying is the simple truth. it was really interesting to know the political thoughts of barney for once. i trully believe that the next album will have at least one political lyric. i mean, the political situation, the war, the collaboraion with war child.... signs!

The situation in this world is not new and has been going on since forever. Look at Israel; they have been fighting with Palestine for ages.

Misguided youth are mixing juice with Alcohol:clap:

Not very often you get Barney writing anything topical is it?;) This is a CLASS attempt, and agreed with those above who say this song is just as relevant now as when it was written in 99, not too long after the wars in Bosnia and East Timor. Mix that with visions of today's youth and touches of sport, and voila....a crackin toon.
