My unc's got me taping Survivor Africa on his west coast station tonight (he had to tape wrestling earlier). Oh boy! Does anyone here even give a damn about "Survivor" anymore? I never got it to begin with, and I sure as hell ain't gonna start watching now. You want to see some real survivors, just look at the people of New York.

Sixteen strangers, bastards all, put in a situation where they have to sell each other out in order to collect a measly amount of cash and to have their egos soothed for 15 minutes more than they deserve of fame......I tell ya, where's the sport in that?

(sorry to respond to my own post, but damn, this show is awful)

Actually, I like it :D

I caught only the end of Survivor 1, watched the whole Survivor 2, and now I'll see if it's different or not with the 3rd one.

Stop watching it if you don't like it :D this show really only gets better and better once people are eliminated and when you start wondering who's the next to be eliminated...!

Well, I had a weird impression of Déjà Vu at the end of that episode, but I was still satisfied that the bitch got expelled. Now if that old moron could be the next!!!

I must say that I was stunned at the beginning of the show when I was looking for Crocodiles, Girafes, Lions, etc..... and suddenly, the fiercest animal of them all was announced:

"Ladies and gentlemen, the President of the United States"

(for some reason, I think this is a good joke)

I still think my joke was very funny.

(at least for North Americans who were expecting Survivor to come up and instead had to deal with an unwanted Prime Time Presidential Press Conference)

Television is a drug force fed us by government, my advice is listen to New Order instead.

The Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy said it all "Television, the drug of the nation. Breeding ignorance and feeding radiation" and that's just the chorus (great song, worth revisiting in these troubled times). Must go, "The Weakest Link" is on.....
