Since it's not hosted here, I don't see the point in closing this thread, but a reminder is that I don't agree with this.
It's ok (altough it isn't) for rare stuff, but this one is widely available...

Amazon.uk has not yet mailed my CD. It's been a couple of days now. So I'm happy I got the Mp3 to last me until I get the cd.
The only reason I bought the cd is because It's a new song. If it was just a remix or something, I would be just as happy with the mp3. I dont care about causes, just new songs.

Not that it matters as I'm buying a couple of copies of the cd anyways...
I really wish that there was a fair way to quickly and easily download tracks from the internet, pay the artists as much (or easily more) than what they get from the record company thiefs, and get on with it....these middleman distributors and companies made sense until recently and now they're just trying to hang on...These distributors do NOTHING to earn their keep here.
Incidently I will always prefer to also buy the "packaged" product as well and I am happy in the physical realm to acknowledge that distributors and companies have a right to make a profit if you are buying a physical product that requires marketing and distribution....

do not download it - it says inside the sleeve not to post the songs anywhere, all the artists donated ther time etc so the charity gets the money
so we only want one song, its not a lot of cash & it helps a lot of people.

Actually, it's a refrain of another Jimmy Cliff song, "the harder they come", that BTW is a movie, too.

its a nice little song... someone like you, rock the shack, slow jam, and run wild are more embarrassing, and way weaker songs to start with.
When will NO learn that having female vocals (besides Gillians) is poison for any track.

I wish the link would have been dead when I clicked on it - this song blows ass. Everything one it sucks, the guitar, the bass, the vocals, the chorus, the female voice, on and on. If this were a freebie I would use it for a frisbee.
Thank you ORBlivion!!! I fell in love with this tune. I nevermind how Jimmy Cliff sang it cos I have never heard of him but I love the way New Order performed it. Remember TURN THE HEATER ON!!! New Order are back!
