As a 1000 post present I have managed to lay my hands on a very rare Spanish tribute to Joy Division. This may sound to you as interesting as a CD of Motorhead hits played by chosen Didgeridoo masters. Let me disabuse you. Some of these covers are really good. I think that ALMANSO knows this CD and can back me up on this. They are mostly sung in English by the way.

If you think you are interested in receiving this CD send me your land address to hvadillo@hotmail.com and place a post in this thread. Please be patient because I have not CD burning capabilities at home and have to do it in a shop so it may take a while but I can promise you no request by regular posters will be left unattended.

Depending on the number of requests I shall cover myself the cost of postage or ask you to cooperate.

No, no catalan version, I think Catalan lends itself more readily to slower, mellower types of music. There is, though, a very good cover of She's lost control in Spanish (Ella perdio el control)

Trying to push some buttons around here? I just got my copy in the mail a couple day ago, and listened to it a few times. It's actually very good! I would say most on the cover on this CD is a lot better than covers done by native english speakers and most all the covers done on this CD are in english. I wouldn't say having a tribute album in a language other than english is stupid. Sometimes they may be amusing because certain words or phrases doesn't translate very well, but anyone wanting to do a tribute to JD is NOT STUPID.
