This song cries out for the remixing talents of Mr Sly & Mr Robbie.

I would have voted 7 and a half if it'd been an option...

On further listening I think its pretty good actually. But then I always liked the original, being a J Cliff fan. But obviously by NO standards its not a TF or BM or anything.

It probably would have had a lot more resonance if the war had still being going on. In the light of recent events maybe a cover of Sunday Bloody Sunday or The More I See The Less I Believe would be more appropriate.

I love that performance!!!! yahoooooo New Order rocks back! Anyway it's far better than any stuff on Get Ready with the little exception of Crystal.

can't believe this many people actually like this. I would have bought the album because of its good cause, but since we've got a dutchified version over here I won't bother and just donate some cash.

Right, I finally got my copy of the Hope album today, and have reached the opinion that this isn't bad at all. My opinion of it has risen since the previous low quality listens on the Hope website.

Of course, it is not classic New Order, and it won't be troubling any home-made compilations any time soon. But...well, I'd rather have this than Chemical. (Or is that damning by extremely faint praise??!)

Major bad point is too much Dawn. Nothing personal against her. However, I think that somebody must be trying to push her forward to eventually usurp Barney as lead vocalist. Enough is enough, people! But I get the feeling we will be hearing more from her on the next album...

And I'd just like to add that, as a bit of a reggae lover, I bought a ticket to see Jimmy Cliff in Edinburgh next month.

Zero.
