Song in 24 Hour Party People

Hi! I'm looking for this song and it's not on the ost of the film. It's a dance instrumental song and you heard it when Tony Wilson talks about the gang's violence in Manchester, gun shots etc, nearly before the Hacienda close his doors.

Unless I'm wrong :D, that's "Go" by Moby (Can't remember if Steve Coogan or Tony Wilson identified it on their respective commentaries)

If you switch the subtitles on it tells you it is "Go" by Moby. Not sure what mix of this track it is though - anyone know ?

the credits only list it as 'go', but it sounds like either the 'original mix' or 'radio edit' to me since it didn't specify a remix. i could be wrong, however, as there are about a million different mixes.

maybe the single mix of "Go" (radio edit)... or longer version called the(Rainforest mix) in the USA... with the Twin Peaks music sample. The Tones on Tail vocal swipe of the word "Go" which runs thru all the remixes i think... both versions easily and cheaply found on the classic Moby- "Go remixes" CD single.

i don't recommend some of his full CD compilations because they are pretty exploitive...

this was Moby's "Blue Monday"-ish hit, a breakthru worldwide hit for a non-vocal house-y record... i believe it was a top ten record in England and some of Europe... after this Moby told a million lies about himself and pretty much ruined his career by being so difficult, then the lucky bastard lucked out by ripping off dead copyright free coloured-people music and whored himself to the world for much profit... i guess all is well that ends well
