Damn it, hmv.com is now AMAZON.CA 
This pisses me off, Amazon's site is the WORST you can have to get information about products, it pissed me off with CDNow, not it's pissing me off even worst.
And off course, they don't have 75% of what HMV had NewOrder wise.. I wanted to order the damn EGG CD Single today!!!!!
Well, actually Microsoft shows a nice package when they buy someone, it's the core that is evil 
Amazon is just plain sucking... browsing products is seriously bad, then you only have the samples for 3 songs max.. CDNow was lightyears ahead.
I just don't get why they don't use the CDNow sound samples to increase their offer, and the HMV catalog.
Amazon was meant for BOOKS damn it!
I dunno, I tried ordering 511 from HMV, but they lost my shipment 3 times!!! I finally canceled and order elsewhere......................Amazon!
Don't worry, both http://www.hmv.co.uk/ and http://www.hmv.co.jp/ are still not Amazon - yet...

Aw no! :( I feel for ya, Nick; I hate when things like that happen! Amazon seems to be swallowing everyone else up. Can't think why they'd want to buy HMV.com, though; aren't HMV the bigger company?
HMV might be bigger on that side of the pond...but I'm sure that on this side, Amazon makes them look like one of the seven dwarfs...
besides, haven't you heard the new lingo here in North America??? If you can't beat em....buy em!!!!
that fucking sucks. now where will i go for my comprehensive music samples? the industry is complaining that people don't buy cds anymore....can anyone guess why? lousy take-overs like this to provide substandard service to music buyers. grrrr.
Try ..WWW.101cd.com....got a massive selection of cds..12"/7" vinyl ..imports,Australian,dutch,German and Japanese.....and a "out of print section " with at the moment 157 titles...
I called a HMV store to see if you can still order EGG from them, and they say it's disc. So most likely HMV.com would have been disc as well. They would have just waited until you ordered to tell you.
Speaking of missing something. Does anybody know where to get the Japanese NTSC 316 dvd?
Japanese DVD is zone 2, same as European.. maybe it's encoded in NTSC though, but you need a zone 2 DVD player anyways...!
