Hi all,

Just wondering if NewOrder new album has been reviewed yet by Rolling Stone...not as it matters, they give crappy artists like "Eminem" acolades up the yin-yang....

I will even doubt they review get ready....they have a lot of reviewing to do with all the crap gangster rap groups like "Jay-z" I swear to God....Gangsta Rap is crap!!!

am I cynical about american media?? Maybe...

I just read the Australian RS review of GetReady, I'm not sure whether this one is syndicated to the US edition or not.. As can be expected from a rock orientated mag, the response was positive but hardly glowing..

3/5 stars

Quotes included:

"Same old gloom from Brit hit machine, eight years on",

"..[GR] sticks tightly to the 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' theory."

The most ignorant statement was in saying that the band never veer too far from one style of sound and that GR simply picks up where Republic left off.. A plonker.

WTF? GR sounds nothing like Republic.

If they got someone to review the band who knew them and their music (Mikal Gilmore did an excellant piece on them about the time Ian died and NO just started), or even interview them, I'd have a reason to read the lousy mag
