Out tomorrow! I expect a lot of the tracks here formed part of his set on the tour. Can't see Beach Boys or Sex Pistols reworkings though (a shame IMO)...

A trailblazer in every sense of the word, his CV (ie: the tracklist for Breakin') reads like a potted history of dance music's finest moments, and even now, 20 years on from his seminal work on "Planet Rock", young producers would sell their grandmothers for just a minute of the great man's time. Breakin' tells the Baker story from both ends of the spectrum. CD1 highlights recent collaborations with electro disciples such as Timo Maas, Meat Katie and Rennie Pilgrem, each reworking classics like "Walking on Sunshine" or letting Arthur reinvent their own "we're not worthy" productions. Best of all is Paul Oakenfold's brave re-rub of "Planet Rock", not an easy or enviable task, but one which he pulls off with aplomb. CD2 revisits the classics in their original form and should be essential fodder for anyone with the slightest interest in disco history. New Order's "Confusion", Will Downing's "A Love Supreme" and "Happiness Is Just Around the Bend" from Cuba Gooding all reaffirm why the big man with the beard is so important. --Paul Tierney

Confusion I guess is on the 2nd CD which isn't listed on Amazon. Was it me or did I hear Anarchy in the UK mixed in with some big beat at Brixton Acadmey? BTW when we arrived in Brixton on Wed we walked past Arthur Baker going in to the venue with a walking stick. I know he's getting on a bit but has he always required a stick (perhaps to keep NO in line when they are up to no good?)
