well, i only know why the whole "Twisted Tenderness" thing didn't quite work in germany. the german record company EMI, didn't give a f*** about Electronic. i knew the product manager which i got a "Late At Night"-Promo-CD from. his only comment on the thing was "well, who wants an album of an old 80'ies fossil anymore?". you wanna know my reaction ???

Late at Night was supposed to be the first single off Twisted Tenderness in the US...! it never happened.

Another "pulled" project due to Get Ready... the band got back together, nobody wanted to tour or do promotion...

It probably would have been too difficult to edit it down to the requisite "radio-friendly" length. They would have been good to chop out the Marr guitar noodling in the middle though.

A word of warning to all: Avoid the Johnny Marr and the Healers album. It's awful.

I agree that the Healer's album isn't great, but the single "Bangin' On" is very good. All three tracks are fairly strong.
