You have the Polish and Japanese Blue Monday edited versions? And the Extended Edit of Bizarre Love Triangle?

If so, how are they edited? I've never seen these anywhere.

Andy Not literally...the POLISH one YES.But as for the other two..never even the BLT one unless SHUGZV knows better. The JAPANESE BLUE MONDAY was £40 the last time i thought about getting it YEARS ago but there was so much MORE i WANTED then i probably blew the dosh on about 3 choice items instead.Unless i could get something in absolute MINT condition..which meant me visiting the seller i tended to shy away from such purchases.Hence i have never bought a single item from E-BAY but HAVE used dealers who i know that when they say MINTY MINT they mean it!

Originally posted by Rocket Mick Yes these lists are very IMPRESSIVE.Shugzv recently listed 320 actual CDs/albums that i have so my list of tracks is quite comprehensive. He did not list any VIDEOS/DVD/TAPES/LIVE or MP3's i had 0R he would still be doing this. What i have noted is that i only have about 7 of the items you are still looking for.My list of WANTS is still in the region of about 150.But then again...it is never ending.Cheers ANDY and HIBSTER for pointing this site out.I will use this for future reference aswell.Bloody great effort indeed. And nothing wrong with staying in now and again.:nod:Cheers ROCKET MICK

Don't forget that I'm not a completist in the "buying every issue of every release" sense - just trying to get every mix and track New Order have ever recorded, preferably on CD. I've some 800 CDs (all bought, none copied) in my entire music collection, and I dread to think how many of those are New Order, but I'm not bothered about getting the tape/vinyl/CD of every album, as long as I have a just a CD copy. You have to draw the line somewhere. Mind you, I've got every officially released UK 7", CD and cassette single and 12", as far as I'm aware.

Andy. But you need at least ONE empty POT NOODLE used by HOOKY to make your collection worth having!:nod:I too started out only wanting the 12 inch singles for the cover aspect as much as anything else. Then it kinda got OUT OF CONTROL.I still shied away from the early CASSETTE BOX sets...wish i hadn't now.But as time went by i wanted ALL the different edits and remixes. So like you i am not a COMPLETIST.They are many other groups that i listen too aswell. My friend has a collection of near 6000 CD's so again i don't even regard mine as anything special. It is just the legacy of being into this band from the start which made it EASY for me to collect their stuff. The value of it is irrelevant cos i could neither sell nor replace ANY of these for sentimental reasons.Whatever reason we choose to follow this group is GOOD enough by my reasoning.Even if you only have one CD then that is suffice!:nod:I must say though ANDREW,that your collection and the way it is catalogued is indeed a GREAT tribute to you, just wish i had the patience to do something of note too. Please keep up the correspondance with this site because this is why i visit here so much. There is always someone out there with a different and yet good way of doing things.Makes the world go round. No worries. My problem now is that all the remaining rare edits and tracks I'm trying to find are bleedin' expensive, and it's costing me quite a bit at online record stores and Ebay... Never mind, it's just a few remaining bits now, so one every couple of months (if I can track 'em down)... Extended Edit, indeed....

Mmm, I've just counted 32 different mixes of 'Confusion' in that list of mine - and I've the final, 33rd version in the post to me as I type (Rough Trade edit).

Only 20 versions of 'Blue Monday', however, with a further 7 still waiting to be tracked down.

Hey, I wonder if any of the actual band members have heard every mix and edit that's been done of their music?
