Long threads with pointless responses really do my head in. Some people on this site really do need to get out a bit.
Like they say, if you've nothing useful to say.....shut the **** up!
Maybe one or two people here would be best served in their own private chat room rather than wasting everyone else's time. Can we have some kind of regulation on this?
Well, if people were more sensible with their responses, then I wouldn't have to scroll through pages of crap would I. I'm sure there's a private competition going on to see who can score the most posts? Most of which are completely irrelevant to New Order.
Technically Keith, you have now executed your point twice; almost a straight repeat.
Are you sure your not cheating en route to 20 posts?

As a matter of fact, it's the whole point of the off-topic forum, the situation was far worst a long time ago!
It's true some people use this forum as a chat room, but well, there isn't much that can be done, unless I finally put a chat on the site ;)

Agreed.
Inane banter has hidden merits. Sometimes it can be as important as specific New Order talk.
It would be good if everyone could just get on and be nice.
if this site were restricted to trainspotting posts like 'the third chord of 'as it is when it was' should be played in this key, not that key,' or 'what city was barney farting in on june 8, 1981: leipzig or graz?' it would become rather tedious to read.
while i don't find all random posts entertaining, many of them are, and if someone wants just the facts ma'am, perhaps a 'new order almanac' is due.

Couldn't have put it much better myself. Keith if you want SERIOUS go to WIM, but then again, no-one posts on that anymore, most of us on here do NOT compete for who posts the most (except maybe Major and Baldy) we are simply replying to our mates.....and having the craic at the same time. As Nicos says "You should have seen this site a year ago"
Drink a few beers and I'm sure you'll enjoy the experience;)

Yup were mostly mad round these parts! but then again have you ever seen the band being interviewed??!? they make us lot look postively sane half the time!
Still persevere and you'll find some delightful gems of information and some VERY generous people on the site willing to share music and trade with you and help you locate anything vaguely neworder related - we aim to please :D
Oh as well as the 
dont forget to leave ya fave new order album on repeat while posting or reading this site to round off the experience :)

Sometimes speaking when you KNOW all the facts is RELEVANT.I have only had great responses to posts and CD-RS sent to NOOL's in the region of aprox 100 people.Pretty dam poor i would say when only about 150 ever come here with their names showing.I suggest if you don't like it then TRY and give us SOME PROPER info and good posts yourself or maybe find a more SENSIBLE and LOGICAL FORUM.No offence is ever intended here and most people either LEARN to accept society and all its various members or move on.

I think you'll find that particular fart was in E flat, lasted 13 seconds, and started as a squeaker, with an elongated centre section (the bridge), ending with a cacophonous raspberry blow-off. And a light brown splatter pattern of the pants (which were brown Y-fronts with white piping). It was in between the second and third chord of the only ever version of Truth to feature an extra hand-clap in the second measure.

No I don't. I changed that bad boy after the first complaint. It's now "The Lovers II" by Rene Magritte. Hopefully it should show up. And as for my pics not showing, I'll try to fix that in the future. Thanks for the tip on the C: drive thing. I may be an aspiring writer, but I'm largely computer illiterate!
And can certain posters stop bloody replying to every single enquiry with "HAHA YEAH IT'S HIDDEN WITH LOVE VIGILANTES ON THE SECRET 8TH DISC OF THE 2ND EDITION OF RETRO RELEASED NEXT YEAR" or something as equally unfunny as that. It wasn't funny when Retro was released, and it certainly isn't funny now.
