I am currently researching for a book to cover all the classic manchester bands:

Buzzcocks Joy Division Smiths New Order The Fall Stone Roses 808 State Happy Mondays Morrissey Inspiral Carpets Charlatans James Oasis Doves Badly Drawn Boy Elbow

In each band section I want to include a section of fan's comments. So if anyone wants any of their opinions on any of these bands to be put into print, please email them to me at:

otisberg@nme.com

Please include your:

a) First name b) Age c) Town (and country if outside the UK)

Any contributions will be considered. How do the bands inspire you? Why Manchester inspires such good bands, reflections on seeing them live etc. I will keep any contributors updated on the progress of the book. Thanks

They may be but Bury is only spitting distance away. In fact as I sit here in Bury gazing at the Derby Hall, scene of the infamous JD riot, I can see it raining in Manchester.

Does he want a quote, or a long-winded, half-drunken ramble? I mean, it's a pity to let this six pack of Bud Light go to waste :D

Hey Shug, if you ever hear back from this guy, let me know. Then he's legit, and I might send something wicked his way comes (sorry, been up since 6:30, I need sleep and a beautiful woman but so far sleep is the only guarentee):sleepy:
