OK, when the boys tour next, they play a setlist full of oldies they haven't played live (to my knowledge) since regrouping in '98. How's about... Perfect Kiss, Leave Me Alone, Dreams Never End, 1963, Vanishing Point, Thieves Like Us, Age Of Consent, Lonesome Tonight, As It Is When It Was, Round and Round Encore, Everyone Everywhere, Let's Go, Dream Attack. I'd pay good money for that.

Sounds good, but I think I would replace Everyone Everywhere with either Procession, Hurt or EGG

I honestly don't think they'll play EE, but how about This time of night or subculture instead? Perhaps the "Michael Jackson played with me" version of True Faith might crop up. or the old version of Touched by the hand of god?

It would be good if we could get perhaps just any two of those! :thumb:

But with that version would Barney still get the chance to unclip the microphone from the stand jump up and down and do his skiing dance?!?!

Having put together so many video compilations over the last couple of years, including rarely seen concerts from all over the place, the songs which still stand out are definitely...

Face Up, Subculture, TPK, Age Of Consent, AIIWIW, Dreams Never End, Love Vigilantes (circa Intro 85/86) & Weirdo.

We do have LV and YSF back on the set-list, so that's some kinda bonus, but I'd gladly swap the both of them for Age Of Consent just one more time. Being a greedy fucker, I'd love to see some Technickers songs again (All The Way & Vanishing Point)

We'll have to wait till a tour's announced - then we can complain like fuck that they had better do this and they'd better do that:evil4:

They never listen though do they?

Bowie invited fans to vote songs for an upcoming tour a few years back, The Laughing Gnome featured prominently in the vote but Bowie refused that one. How can we organise a simular vote for a setlist?

Quality thread. I'd go for Procession, Leave Me Alone, Ultraviolence and Vanishing Point. Possibly TPK too. Never liked AOC that much. Chance of any of that happening is about as close to zero as you can get. Cheers Barney!

I think that's an excellent idea, although I think we'll have to wait for some dates to be announced. It worked with Love Vigilantes at Lancs CC, did it not ?

Hmm... This time of night Ultaviolence Perfect Kiss - full version Round and Round Mr. Disco Face up Paradise Original version of Blue Monday - I bet they haven't played this in ages, considering the version I heard from 511.

Nope - Love Vigilantes was already on the set-list, they just confused everyone at the concert by playing it first:thumb:

I expect they will play what they want to play! they are their songs after all!!

If they wanted input into the setlists dont you think the fans would have been approached by the band or management by now...?

Still they know that hardcore fans will turn up regardless if its the same setlist or not, and that they have also got to entertain the "Best Of" fans as well (u know the ones that always go wild when they play Blue Monday!!)

Aiiii, my mate Baldrick jumps up and down even more when they play BM, all the rest of us want to sneak aff:D It's been mentioned here before, but it'd be great if they played the early 5 minute version in the set, and leave the end for Temptation followed by The Perfect Kiss or vice versa:thumb:
