Just sitting here, watching the series premiere of Keen Eddie...when lo and behold...Crystal starts playing on the show...hmmm...might have to watch this one on future episodes...
by the way...it's a show about a New York cop working with Scotland Yard...thought it might be worth a watch...
that's the one with the ugly dude who replaced the crantastic matthew ashford as jack on 'days of our lives.' (no, i don't watch soaps, but i used to when i was young.)
was it any good? i thought it appeared rather condescending in the adverts (you know, cool american goes abroad and shows the cute little foreigners how we do things right over here), so i didn't bother watching it. what was your verdict? was 'crystal' at least used in a decent and respectful manner?

I enjoyed it...and I swear at one point, I saw my knapsack floating down the Thames...
actually...it was interesting to see some of the sites I've seen in person on my television...and I'd like to know what neighborhood he is supposed to be living in...it looked rather familiar...but when you've hoofed it from Gloucester Road Station to Finsbury Park...all of London begins to look rather familiar....
I will actually watch it again next week...aaaawwwwww crap...I usually close on Tuesday nights...guess I'll be recording this one...
but I would suggest you give it a whirl...
and as for Crystal...we never got any words...just the piano into...complete with Dawn's heeeyy ooohhh...and then the little guitar piece right before Barney sings....
and then we got it again...twice in one show...so I'm sure they won't use anything else by the order in this show again...because we all know how long most Fox series last...
I'll say 9 episodes before they pull the plug...most of America won't be able to decipher the accent...

I hadn't been sold on the show until I saw the promo commercial with Eddie and a long-haired guy asking a lady about her son or something, and she signaled for the guy to make a break for it very obviously. The guy in question was very slowly getting out of the side window and falls on his ass in the end. That was hysterical enough, and like "Andy Richter Controls The Universe" it will probably die a slow death of an abbreviated season or two. But I'll try to watch
