Anyone know what is whispered at around 1.29, and then something shorter at 2.23 on the sublime thing that is Get The Message. Might be just a computery noise, but it bugs me everytime I listen to it.

Barney didn't like the mix after hearing it on the radio.

That is correct...it was being played on the radio when he heard it whilst travelling in his car.TRUE.So he changed it for the BETTER in my humble opinion.Cost me well over £100 buying that lot of singles.MAD but GREAT times.....wish i was back there sometimes.

I remember putting 'Get The Message' on a CD jukebox in a pub a few years back now (it was on a various artists compilation) and it was a completely different edit, still about single length, but with an acoustic version of the instrumental middle section as an introduction. I thought is sounded quite good, as an 'alternate edit'. Is that the promo you're on about Mick?
Andy.

Off top of my head...sounds like it.The difference mainly being the added vocals from the woman singer MISSING i think.Must check it though cos it is a long time since i played it.
