I WANTED to vote for Barney or Ian, but I went with Liam because he has the best chance of beating that twit Morrissey.

Forgive me...I clicked over to check out Barney, and lo and behold, my mouse was taken over Ouija board style and hovered over Moz until I clicked the button.

Well I've voted for our Barney, but it won't help him too much... Liam ? And Moz was mostly a comedy act (but they at least had some top tunes). If I were from Manchester I'd be embarrased.

I don't see New Order as really having a "frontman" in the classic sense; to me, New Order is four individuals of equal status and influence. (Yes, four...we love you Gillian!

Hooky or Stephen are as likely to turn up for an interview as Barney, or make some smart-ass remark at a gig, or show up on an album cover. Barney may be the singer, but he's not a frontman like some of these other clowns. "Frontman" to me is a job above and beyond band membership.

Did that make sense?

Isn't there some sort of law against comparing the two? Against comparing either one to Mick Hucknall?

I've always thought of New Order in this way. Thank God Barney isn't like Bono, or the lead singer from Creed, whoever he is.
