Does anybody know where I could get a hold of the factory arranged "Festival od the Tenth Summer" which was held at the G-MEX. It was an all day event where New Oder headlined, I believe the Smiths also played that day.

Are you looking for a cdr of the gig?
I was there that day, New Order, Smiths, OMD were the highlights. The gig was filmed by factory, sections aired on local radio and the bootleg 'Solitude' was produced of New Order's performance
Not forgetting The Fall too ;)
An "I was there" gig - I've even still got the Festival of 10th Summer T-shirt, which may be fading, but is still going strong : they don't make 'em like that any more.
Yes, I have the audio cassette bootleg of the gig (complete with Ian McCulloch's vocals on Ceremony), but I'm sure you'll be flocked with offers :)
Bloody hell, how did I forget the Fall, 3rd best band in the world(well Manchester)at that point.
'Who do you think is the best band in the world? I think it's New Order' Paul Morley introducing the band on stage at the gig
And Frank Sidebottom - briefly!
There was a whole programme of events - an exhibition in a gallery, a film at The Roundhouse introduced by Tony Wilson, and a show at The Russell Club (the sweatiest venue in the world) from James.

They were playing while I was queuing to get in - and had finished when I got in. Derek Hatton getting bottled was a highlight - John Cale too!
