Good 'morrow to thee.

Heard yesterday that Radio 2 intend to broadcast a fairly extensive documentary covering past, present and future New Order insights accompanied with, 'many songs' (!?) ...

July 12th Radio 2 Show entitled 'New Order - TX'

That's all I know. Maybe more details will surface closer to the date.

I read somewhere it's split over two weeks (12 and 19 July) & also available on the web.

... Don - is this also R2?

If so I guess it's possible the two-parter's shrunk & moved month....

it was supposed to be on radio 2, also a two parter so another new order item postponed!

that makes it a proper new order item in my book

In a similar vain, obviously everyone will have access to this cos all Beeb radio shows are available for one week after their transmission ... but ... has anyone ever actually managed to play any of their archives?

I've tried in the past with no joy, just keep getting an 'error on page'. If you look at their 'listen live' pages they even have an additional url which basically says, 'having problems listening live, then try here instead' which actually does work for me, but unfortunately they don't have anything similar in place for their archives. Strange.

You need Real Player installed for it to work. Having said that, I upgraded to Real One Player recently, and I can't get any Radio 1 shows to play back on their little onscreen "player" without reading the source code, finding the URL for each show, then pasting it into the proper Real player! A bit annoying, to say the least.

Yeah, I've got RealOne but it doesn't kick in at all. Sounds like I'll have to copy your idea of reading the source code. There was something on Judge Jules last Saturday which made the hairs on me neck stand up so desperate to give it a listen again before the show disappears!
