Ouch. Quite nice an article. As the german listener, i dont understand why people are fussing over the lyrics - sounds a bit envious of NO: "Unlike their peers in The Cure, no matter what they do, their fans always seem to forgive them." Thats it. Forgive them.

Ott can pitchfork off. Pretentious twats like the writers there make the NME sycophants look like decent journalists !

Just an observation. This twat journalist hates New Order. Perhaps a Cure or Oasis fan.

Anyone who qualifies The C*re as New Order's 'peers' obviously knows f'all about New Order, their music, their fanbase.

The Cure, in their early days, had quite good cover versions of New Order songs: "In Between Days" is my favourite. (or did they write it themselves)

That was funny. :) I laughed. I do like the closing line though: "New Order, whatever they are." That was trying to be an insult, but it's true. They don't have one specific thing they do.

ps: Hats off to Major for hitting 3000. :) Cheers mate.
