spotted in 24hpp(might have been discussed)

near the end the new bouncer/gangster at the hac(played by paul ryder)walks down the line of people waiting to get in,he tells a couple they can't get in,it's steve and gillian(not the real ones)you can here them arguing that they 've put loads of money into the club.did this really happen,were they banned from what was basically a club they part owned.

on TheNewOrderStory Stephen tells about Gillian's sister and her boyfriend always getting in there first, impersonating them...

i saw that, too, and thought it strange. i would kick my sister's @$$ if she did that to me... assuming i was a girl.

I remember a story in NME at the time that Gillian & Steve were turned away from the Hac so I presume the 24hpp scene was true to life.

I would like to think so Major, but from what is reported that happened during the recording of "Face Up" i would be surprised if he says anything about it at all!!!!!!

i think your mistaking me for somebody else,i've only recently joined this forum and have only recently got into new order and don't have a clue who this other robert morrice is though i'm dying to know.i'm 26 and from edinburgh.pretty cool having a new order connection though (unless your winding me up.) this web site is excellent for somebody thats new to new order,doesn't have the snobbery that fan sites usaully have. keep it up everybody
