Oh Dear,
Hybrid & Hooky played on the Lost Vagueness stage, or should I say tried to play.
They came on half hour late due to set up problems, played a couple of (boring) songs before Hooky came on, strutted his stuff before playing... nowt. He was quiet as door mouse. No sound coming from his amp at all. Then about a minute later the whole sound went down. The band skulked off back stage until the problem was 'fixed'. They came back out, Hooky's sound last a whole six bars then went down followed quickly by the whole stage again. What a waste of time. It took me bloody ages to walk up to that stage.
For me, the highlight of the festival (apart from the copious quantities of illegal narcotics) was The Flaming Lips who put on a truly sensational show. Wayne Coyne maybe out with the fairies, but he knows how to write some fantastic pop songs.
