my name is kev forkin and i got a 7 inch single from my uncle it ficking well old and peter hook produced it you see my uncle was in a band called some now are and they supporetd new order a few times (so he says) i was to young but i do have the single here to proof it you see my uncle was in somw now are and they supporetd new order and that shit i would say there are very very few of this tune about it not a great tune but one side is pretty good the name of it is SOME NOW ARE ....TRUTH TO TELL AND THE HEAVIEST GATE any feed back on this would be cool any one every heard of it or some now are (uncle dont talk about it much kids wife and shit lol )

No information seems to be readily available on the net (you'll have to pester your uncle a bit more for any stories, I guess). And it doesn't look like his youthful endeavours will make you rich quick, either ;) . There is a copy of the single for sale for 6 (Pounds?) here and another for 8 (?Pounds) here.

well the diffrence with the cover of the single i got is my uncle was a sign writeras well and he did the cover of the one i got diffrent i know it will not get me rich quick it i was looking for info wwhen he supported new order think it might have been reading not sure i with have to get into him ab it more about it

al/tim.. this rings a bell with me..i am sure i remember some now are supporting the order during 86 sometime. any memories ???

this is what i am trying to find out my uncle swears blind he did in fact hooky chated up my auntie the band some now are were from blackburn they used to be well know around blackburn and my uncle has told me many a tale from days at the hac and conversations he had with new order the mondays etc the thing is he told me all this when i was younger during the madchester era and i loved it so wether i belive it to be true i dont know hahahahah well like i say they were a band from blackburn supported new order a few times and then they changed there name to dtox with which they got to number 10 in dance chart the thing is i was looking for posters and stuff from the gigs and that cause my uncle well never kept anything hahah and that recored i metioned earlier i remember ther ebeing about 200 copies of it lying around the house hhaahahahah but the more feed back i get the better i can show my uncle this and see what he say

Surprised nobody has asked "What the forkin hell's he on about?".

I've heard the name of the band, but don't recall ever seeing them support the Order. Then again, support bands were never my strong point.

there is no punction cause i am shit at that stuff and spelling but the stuff i say is geniue just wanted some info off people at the best place were to find it
