Sorry I cant remember!!
Isnt it split over 2 weekends though? I seem to remember the date of the 12July being the second one perhaps.....? Which would indicate that saturday is indeed the date of the first one. I have no ideas on times though... it will be on the beebs site i've no doubt.
You see this is what happens when neworder events (which lets face it are few and far between!) are not kept at the top of the page on this forum!!! ;)

Correct, stuff like this should be on top.
i checked the radio 2 site before and there is no mention of it. on saturday night they've got Giulfest.
world in motion says it starts on the 12th with the second part on 19th.

Correct, well done. It's the title of a Dead Kennedys compilation.
Request Time
I am gonna be in America while these two are being aired, hopefully one of you helpful peeps will send me a copy of the interviews upon my return, of course there will be something winging it's way to you in return![]()

Thank you for the info about the NO doc, and NOOL should be the official site. It's the best NO site around.
I put in a thread a long while ago about NOOL being recognised as the "official" site by the BBC
Its still bloody impossible to find any info on this site about a dedicated 2 part show on the BBC exclusively about NewOrder to be aired shortly ;)
If i remember correctly the last time a specific show on the BBC was dedicated to NewOrder was in 1993... only 10 years ago... so it happens all the time.. ;)
New Order Online is the official site according to the fine folks at The Ultimate Band List.

You're on Shug, I'll send it with the blank video for G-Mex which I still haven't sent you. Just been too carried away with stories of Russians taking over ailing Premiership clubs and turning them into world-beaters
I wish.
They're splitting the doc over two weeks? I'm going on hols on 16th July, so I'm gonna miss the second part!
Why does stuff like this always happen to me?

The hol's been booked since last year, long before I knew about the doc. If they hadn't gone and changed the date (and decided to split it over two weeks) I'd have been able to listen to the whole thing. I think it just comes down to sheer bad luck.

Same here, I'm gonna to be travelling on the night of part 2 and I don't think the rest of the family would appreciate a change of plans just 'cos I want to listen to the radio. I'm now trying to find some kind person to tape it for me although none of the Edinburgh folk I'm going to see appear to have an old fashioned radio/cassette recorder anymore (too much wealth by far) and at home I can't receive radio 2 (and yes I know it's on the internet but then I can't record it) failing that I'll maybe have to ask Marko to do two copies
(here goes my recent decision not to beg again, ever)
I will attempt to use the advanced timer facilities on my stereo at home forcing it to record on just saturdays at a certain time, and hope that we dont have a power cut or they change the times while im away! if all goes well i should have the whole documentary on minidisc all nicely recorded and waiting for me when i return from holiday (yea likely!!)
I shouldn't worry too much. You can replay BBC radio shows for a limited time after the event via the website and I'm sure some bright spark will have it encoded for our downloading pleasure pretty quick.

Yep, that's what I intend to do
. It's quite easy to download the original high quality ra-files from the Beeb's site if you have the right software :D .
