thanx liv - i'll be able to sleep at night now ps - i don't buy the sport coz i can't reach the top shelf only joking - or am i!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Even though the Daily Star is a comic I saw evidence of 2 autocue machines at the Brixton gig.
Looker!, If the technology is there, then why not use it? If I was Barney I wouldn't be afraid to admit I use autocues, I can think of a few excellent singers who use them.
The Daily Star - the poor man's Sun. Wouldn't trust a word from that rag. Was it a worker on the show who wished to remain anonymous that disclosed this info? And did he make his excuses and leave soon after?

Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston.... to name but a few...
Only jesting...

I did hear that Peter Husky used an autocue for his own wedding day!!!!.... evidently he couldn't remember how to pronounce the word 'cart horse' and required external help via a vdu rigged up to the church mains thorugh a series of complex cabling.
Okay, Okay Liv. What I really meant is that Michael Stipe uses them, I can't think of any others at the mo :-)

know that he has used music stands with the lyrics written on them (e.g. perfect circle on green world tour), didn't realise he had upgraded to an autocue now!
Sean Ryder has been noted to carry a song-sheet on stage with him.
Think Ian McCullouch also used a crib-sheet for Ceremony at the Festival of the 10th Summer. And still came in at the wrong time?
Keef Allen also used the autocue at Reading - I mean, who DOESN'T know the John Barnes 'rap' off by heart? And you couldn't even hear him live anyway, such a disappointment!

my point exactly. Mind you, I am a bit partial to the odd read of the 'Dear Deirdre' column.

But, basicially - Crystal, 60mph, Regret, LWTUA.
Dunno if they'll show them all though?!
Look out for Johnny Giles in an Area:One t-shirt in front of Phil Cunningham!
Is it just me, or does anyone else think that the pic of Barney on the BBC site link that Al gave looks a lot like Paul Gascoigne?
Maybe it is just me....!

Indeed, Gazza circa 'WInM', when he had his hair back-combed. Er, when he had hair.

Didn't the autocue get stuck on one song at one point? And then he was so out of it, he didn't notice he was singing the same word over and over again..... That's what I heard, anyway.
I was expecting a "Three in a bed romp shock sensation with busty babes (Liv) and Barney",instead all we get is a dreary autocue thread.Ho hum...

Actually, I find it very fascinaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa( this goes on for a bit because I slumped over the keyboard in a sudden fit of sleep over the autocue topic)
Well, it is better him singing the correct words than him singing the first shite that comes into his head when he forgets!!!!!!!!
