Personnally I find the TWA Grim Up North Remix the best remix on the TF-94 cds. But who are those guys? I've never heard of TWA before TF and haven't heard of them since. Google doesn't help much. Were they Pete Tong's big 1994 discovery that couldn't handle the burden of stardom? I don't know and it keeps me awake at night.

Anyone who does know?

Funny that, I agree with you. It's the first time someone backs me up on this one! TWA are Trannies with Attitude. If I remember correctly they are (were?) a trio of DJ's/performers.

I don't know the answer... but Richard H. Kirk, of the legendary Cabaret Voltaire, has just recorded an album as TWAT - or 'The War Against Terrorism'

Yup, Trannies with Attitude (aka TWA aka Black Twang).

A group of 3 transvestite DJ's, who included "True Faith" in their Radio One Essential Mix - listed here - http://freespace.virgin.net/john.tiss/emix_twa130894.htm

They released a single called 'Nasty Girls' with mixes from Rollo (from Faithless), Hardfloor.

That's about all I know about them...

l8rs,
