New Order comedy

In Thieves Like Us instrumental... in the beginning there is a drum beat, sort of 'tapping' or 'knock-knock' sound, and after the first two beats you hear Bernard saying "come in!". Heheh, I think that's *so* funny!

Another favorite is that clearing-of-throat-sound in Lonesome Tonight. Doesn't really suit the atmosphere of the song...

Don't fprget him cracking up during the first verses of Every Little Counts......I think he found his own lyrics amazingly dumb on that one

On Lonesoem Tonight, sounds like he is doing more than just clearing his throat... Sounds more like he is snorting up a big booger and hoarking it on the floor of the studio!

Let's not be forgetting 'Rotten Shag' from Get Ready. They must be taking the piss with that one.

I personally like when Barney laughs at the End of Confusion. It is such a mischievious laugh and makes me laugh every time.

Also, on the BBC1 Live concert, the one with Sister ray live has Barney commenting about the size of his or the audience's dick...can never totally make it out.

The inane "lyrics" to Sister Ray has to be one of the highlights of that disc (though I can only imagine what someone in the audience must've made of Barney's version). The whole "love you cos your name starts with 'B'" just cracks me up (obviously, if you see my signature)

Also, on Electronic's first album (not New Order, I know, but still - it's bernard), on the last song - Feel Every Beat, right before he starts to sing, it sounds lika a sniff or an inhaling sound of some sort. I can never make out if it's a sound effect or if it's real. It sounds funny either way. Why would he sniff like that in the start of the song??

I thought everybody knew that one.....it's only Barney having one quick cocaine fix before layin into the rapping bit...he honestly wouldn't be able to get the words out of his mouth otherwise. By the way, if you listen to that intro again, you can also hear someone laughing: that's Johnny Marr, laughing at Barney snorting it up the wrong nostril.

I love the 1983 appearance on TOTP when Barney laughs in the last verse...always makes me giggle And in the Perfect Kiss video, right at the start on the individual close ups, and Barney is clearly not supposed to be looking at the camera, but makes a slight eye contact then looks like he has to stop himself laughing.. High quality comedy moments...
