Ian Curtis Interview 7" Pic disk find

I was recently clearing out some old stuff of mine at my mums house when i found a 7" picture disk of an interview with Ian Curtis, i can remeber buying this in london in around 1984-5 in a back street record shop, neone got any info on this? the disk has a close up of Ian on one side and a pic on the other of him wearing a red shirt (pic taken at a gig) Around the outside it says AN INTERVIEW WITH IAN CURTIS . LIMITED EDITION . 331/3 RPM . CAT NO: ICB 1 . PHOTO'S PETER ANDERSON. on the disk is etched ..Joy Division Press 148...

Info on the disk most welcome plz :thumb:

It was advertised as 5000 copies, but there were a hell of alot more. It was during the time I was working for a record store - I used to promote JD/NO all the time (and get told off!)

If memory serves, the 12" had a pic of Ian similar to that on the cover of the Heart & Soul box set. (well, similar clothing, anyway)

I reckon if you advertised it on Ebay you might get around £15 or equivalent for the 7" (rarer than the 12") but you don't really want to sell it, do you?

These 7" and 12" interview discs were done as part of a series - I think Siouxsie, The Cure, Killing Joke, etc were also included, among around 25 bands.

Keep hold of it, because it will increase in value.

i have uploaded those interviews to the mp3 site but there in real audio for those interested

no go for it i found them on the net years ago and havnt found a way to convert them if u can do it go for it

i have the 7inch and was given to me as a Christmas present some years back. SO this worth how much? I have no intention of selling it unless some crazed person really wants it
