Just been listening to one of my favourite tracks by the STRANGLERS which is a cover of WALK ON BY...during which just before the organ interlude(who er miisus) he utteres these brilliant ad lib words.Now to all those LIVE FANATICS(BENNY,AL,JOHNNY GILES etc) what ,if any, have the ORDER come out with during live performances which was done in this vein.Any new or added comments are lyrics that enhanced the actual live redition of a song? I always loved the change of lyrics to TRUE FAITH....either the drugs reference or the MICHAEL JACKSON ones.There must be lots more that i have either forgotten or never really listened to carefully enough.I just have so much time on my hands now that this has intrigued me. 
can't rilly add any - but thats a great stranglers tune - you got the rarities album with go johnny go, yellowcake uf6 & that one with geroge melly on vocals?

George Melly on vocals - you mean 'Old Codger' - paired with 'Tank' on the B-side of Walk On By. (I think!)

Old Codger - of course! though wasn't aware where it was from - couldnt think of the title, or how it went as havent listened to that tape for ages, but that brings it right back. bit wary about brining this thread to the top again in case shug gets to see it - some prime amo there for him!
