Do you think Barney ever got to grips with Ian's death?

Ian lived in his house a few months before he died.I think they were good friends and Steve wasn't as closer as Peter and Barney though he lived in MacClesfield.

I think the fact that New Order now plays Joy Division songs in concert has something to do with a sort of closure. Barney whooping his way through "Atmosphere" or "Heart and Soul" makes me think he's thoroughly come to terms with his former bandmate's death, to the extent that he can disgrace some of said bandmate's best songs.

Well, don't forget that when asked who the laziest member of New Order the band all said Ian since "he hasn't done much at all lately" and "he should be losing all this money and going through all this crap too", or something to that effect. I think they may have come to terms with his death, but there's obviously a lot of residual anger about it also. Doesn't seem like Barney or the others are making too much of an effort to hide it either.

I think Barney was pretty much over Ian when he sang Face Up at Bradford.
