stoopid download techy question

Help friends - my hifi (cambridge audio amp/pre-amp/cd player) doesn't read MP3 files. I have downloaded all those fantastic bits n bobs off dreamsneverend and can burn them onto CD but they obviously wont play at home :cry:

Is there any easy way to alter MP3 files so i can enjoy on my gear at home without having to buy an MP3 player.

Thanks for any advice guys.

You need to convert the files from .mp3 format into .wav format, then burn the disc. Your burning software should be able to do this for you...

Cool Edit Pro is the one I use - fast and efficient - converts to just about any format. Then I use Roxio's Easy CD creator.

most burning software gives you the option to make a music cd or an mp3 cd in my experience. if you can't do that, Sound Forge is also good for converting.
