Hi all

Im new here but an old school NO/JD fan since 82....I am trying to find the great Mojo interview from 2001? when NO spoke about each album and what they were doing at the time...is it online anywhere?

Id love to see all the singles released as a box with all the original cover artwork etc!

I have been looking through my old video collection and found NO Live in Melbourne 82 when Blue Monday was first played, also have loads of UK TV and Europe vid interviews, Barney nutz on TOTP Fine time is great!

I think i have the Mojo issue your talking about, It's issue no 94 from september 2001, a great article. Is this the one you mean?

I think a box set of all the singles with the original artwork would be great, but i doubt it will ever happen.

The live version you have of Blue Monday from 82? Was this on an Australian show called Countdown where Hooky used ten pins on his drum machine? This was the first time i saw New Order and it blew me away.

wow!! welcome amni, thanks for speaking up. do you have the means/desire to convert and upload that Blue Monday video you got? it sounds awesome. if not, maybe you could draw pictures of pleasing scenes and mail them to me.

i also remember that Mojo interview. Bernard says he took the cassette of Brotherhood on vacation in Greece and decided it was crap. I beleive. I could have it totally confused though, it's been a while since i've read it.

A german mate sent a vcd of this Melbourne(25/11/82) concert. It seems that Your Silent Face and Blue monday were played for their first time there. In this site says that Blue Monday's an instrumental version but it is not true.

The video of the Melbourne 82 show is desperately poor quality, unfortunately, Very dark and grainy. Great Barney stare at Gillian when she screws up Ceremony though !

Barney was right about Brotherhood, it was crap. I've never been so disappointed by a New Order release after months of live versions of the songs, not even Republic was as big a disappointment.

I'm afraid i have to disagree with you on this Mr Pleasures. I think Brotherhood is their best album and Republic is their worst, but that's just my humble opinion.
