Okay, the ones I've seen are as follows:
Smiles of a Summer Night The Seventh Seal Wild Strawberries The Magician Through a Glass Darkly Persona Shame Cries and Whispers Scenes from a Marriage Fanny and Alexander
seems like I've seen more of 'em than that....hmmm...must think about it a bit.
Where's Trevor...I thought he'd weigh in.
I have these on DVD:
Cries And Whispers Seventh Seal Wild Strawberries The Magic Flute Autumn Sonata The Virgin Spring Through a Glass Darkly Winter Light The Silence Fanny And Alexander Scenes From A Marriage (both cinema and TV versions)
I've seen a lot of other titles, but these are the ones I own... the guy is huge, the #1 director for me. A genius. ![]()
Anyone saw Sarabande?
I wish I'd seen Sarabande. Missed Faithless, too, written as it was by Bergman and directed by Liv Ullmann. Bloody States get no good movies anymore. Oh well, at keast Almodovar's new one is out in two weeks up my way.
David, I've watched Faithless here in Brazil, I'm pretty sure it was on some theathers on US, of course not Cinemark or UCI... it's also avaluable on DVD, check Amazon.com...
Sarabande was about to start on US distributed by Sony Classics, I remember seeing it on their website... wait a minute.
Yep, I was right. Starts on July, it shall come to Brazil afterwards.
I've exchanged emails some time ago with Maria (this forum moderator) in order to obtain some Bergman's films, but she vanished. :(
Can we discuss Cassavetes on the Swedish Forum as well? ![]()
Sure, we can discuss Cassavettes. Let's turn this into an all-film forum if it's not being used. Oh, and I've only seen Faces and Woman Under the Influence by him, so I'm not well-versed in Cassavettes.

But that's just a matter of opinion... ![]()
